Fulltime Database Administrator Bilingual (English/Spanish)

Duties:

Design, implement, and manage computer database for business tax services company utilizing Microsoft SQL and Visual Basic. Design, implement and maintain bilingual (English/Spanish) remote database to allow business and individual clients to log on remotely to computer database to manage bookkeeping records and other financial information in English and/or Spanish. Train employees and English/Spanish speaking clients on how to access database and retrieve information from remote access database. Modify existing databases and database management systems for all computers in office network. Plan, coordinate and implement security measures, including firewall and password policies to safeguard information in computer files against unauthorized use. Specify users and user access levels of clients, employees and owners to ensure appropriate level of access to database. Schedule, plan and supervise the installation and testing of new products and databases to computer system. Guide the use and acquisition of software and protect sensitive client information such as social security numbers and confidential financial information.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Two years of experience as a Database.
  • Administrator and two years of experience utilizing Microsoft SQL and Visual Basic.
  • Must be bilingual in English/Spanish to maintain English and Spanish databases for business with 90% Spanish speaking clients.
